ExperienceChangeⓇ focuses on organizational change by offering hands-on practice with a proven 7-step change process.
The Change Readiness Framework
Successful change only happens when people are Ready, Willing & Able to act.
KickstartChange™ is built on ExperiencePoint’s Change Readiness Framework, a practical approach for turning change strategy into real behavior. It helps people create clarity, build commitment and remove barriers so change can happen by focusing on three essential conditions:
- Ready – People understand what’s changing and why it matters
- Willing – People see the benefits of the change for themselves and others
- Able – People have the skills and conditions to take action and succeed
When any of these are missing, change efforts stall. When all three are in place, change moves forward. KickstartChange™ helps teams identify and close these gaps so change can happen faster and more effectively.

FAQs About KickstartChange™
Is a 2-hour change management workshop really effective?
Yes, a 2-hour change management workshop can be effective—when it’s designed right. KickstartChange™ uses a focused, short-seated format that combines experiential learning with practical, human-centered tools. By focusing on a real change challenge, participants can see the immediate impact of their work. This highly efficient approach has been proven to build change readiness quickly and effectively across all levels of an organization. Over 90% of KickstartChange™ participants reported improved change capabilities—proving that even a short-seat workshop, when also practical, can deliver real impact fast. That’s why we call it our “workout workshop.”
Why is change management important for everyone in an organization?
Change management isn’t just for leaders—it’s essential for everyone. According to McKinsey research, while only 2% of employees are typically involved in organizational change, organizations that “involve 21 to 30 percent of employees in key transformation roles” achieve the highest total shareholder returns (TSR). This proves that broader capability and participation in change drive better outcomes. By democratizing change capability and empowering individuals at all levels, organizations can build a resilient, change-ready culture that accelerates results and sustains success.
What is the difference between ExperienceChange® and KickstartChange™?
ExperienceChange® and KickstartChange™ are complementary change management experiences designed to work in tandem. They share common foundations but serve different purposes, audiences and time frames. ExperienceChangeⓇ is a 4–8 hour immersive simulation that helps leaders and teams responsible for driving change build a deep, end-to-end understanding of how to lead complex, organization-wide change. Meanwhile, KickstartChange™ is a 2-hour practical workshop that helps people at all levels build the skills to navigate change in their day-to-day work, with immediate application to real challenges. They are powerful experiences on their own, but can be paired powerfully together in a longer learning journey.
What is change leadership training?
Change leadership training is a type of change management training that equips people with the skills and tools they need to lead through uncertainty, reduce resistance and drive meaningful progress. As today’s workforce faces more change than ever—driven by AI, economic shifts, organizational transformation, and more—this training benefits employees at all levels, not just formal leaders. That’s why we’re seeing more and more organizations turning to change leadership training to foster a resilient, change-ready culture.
How does KickstartChange™ help everyday individual contributors?
Change is not a spectator sport. KickstartChange™ equips individual contributors with the skills and mindset they need to actively participate in change—regardless of prior experience. With practical tools and a human-centered approach, it helps people build agency and see change as an opportunity rather than a disruption.
Participants learn to:
- Build resilience: Collaborate more effectively by developing a shared language, tools, and understanding for navigating change together.
- Practice empathy and perspective-taking: Explore the “why” behind the change and see the value of change through multiple lenses—what it means for them, their team, and the wider organization.
- Apply skills in real-world scenarios: Gain hands-on experience in a safe environment and walk away with a repeatable framework.
This approach is especially valuable in roles like marketing or cross-functional teams, where change is often driven by other departments. KickstartChange™ helps contributors feel more connected, capable and aligned with the transformation.
How does KickstartChange™ handle AI, privacy, and data security?
KickstartChange™ offers two AI-supported options. By default, participants can use Copy for AI, which lets them upload their draft work to an AI tool their organization already approves. Or leaders can choose to enable the Refine option, an in-platform AI feature that helps participants directly improve their outputs in real time. Refine is designed to improve clarity, grammar, and flow without adding new facts. Because organizations vary in their AI policies, the in-platform AI feature is optional and can be disabled. Additional information on AI safeguards, controls, and service providers is available for clients who need it.
What is organizational agility?
Organizational agility is a company’s capacity to respond quickly and effectively to change, whether it’s caused by new strategies, technologies, policies, or something else entirely. It’s not just about adopting new processes—it’s about creating a culture where people at every level are equipped and empowered to lead change when they come face-to-face with it.
At ExperiencePoint, we’ve seen that organizational agility takes root when people at every level feel trusted, empowered and responsible for leading change—not just coping with it. As we explore in an ATD blog, real agility starts when change isn’t just managed from the top but led by everyone.
