Paul Phillips brings a wealth of experience, knowledge — and often an injection of humor — to his role as ExperiencePoint’s Managing Director.

Born in Stoke-on-Trent, England’s pottery capital, Phillips was raised with strong family ties to the ceramics industry. After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in humanities from Birmingham City University as well as an MBA from Staffordshire University, Phillips was hired by tableware giant Royal Doulton. He remained with the company for 23 years, becoming President of its North American division.

An opportunity arose for Phillips to take on the role of Vice-President for the Walt Disney Company, and a chance to work at the “Happiest Place on Earth,” enticed him to relocate to California where Phillips led a division of the company’s consumer products unit.

Phillips was on the move again when he joined Toronto-based marketing and advertising agency TPS as their general manager. It was in this time that Phillips became passionate about lending his business expertise to developing organizations — uncovering a sense of excitement for entrepreneurship.

In 2014, Phillips joined ExperiencePoint. New to the concept of human-centered design, Phillips was fascinated by the business model and its demonstrable results. Phillips jumped in with both feet to guide ExperiencePoint and its clients toward remarkable success.

When not at the office you can find Phillips at the gym, working hard to achieve his goal of living to 100. He is the proud father of five and grandfather to four, and an equally proud soccer fan — Manchester United, of course.
