For as long as Alison Donkers can remember, she has been fascinated by living and creating memorable experiences. This curiosity continues to drive her each day as ExperiencePoint’s Director of Delivery.

In her role, Donkers oversees the service and delivery operations of ExperiencePoint, ensuring efficiency and smooth workflow. She supports the client-facing delivery team, leading and cheering on the Master Facilitators, Associate Facilitators, Virtual Production Managers, and Resourcing Professionals that deliver renowned workshops to thousands of global participants each year.

Always an active academic, Donkers began her professional journey at the University of Guelph, where she studied Hospitality and Tourism Management and obtained a Bachelor of Commerce in 2005. This expertise led Donkers to be hired by Delta Hotels, Hyatt Hotels, and the Park Hyatt Toronto, where she supported property group sales and on-site event coordination.

It was in 2011 that she connected with ExperiencePoint’s Tanya Bell, Director of Customer Experience, and James Chisholm, Co-Founder and Partner, and subsequently joined the company as the Academic Support Coordinator.  

Since then, Donkers has proven she is a true ‘intrapreneur,’ working on internal strategic projects on multiple teams within ExperiencePoint. A lover of running, hiking, and summer cottaging, Donkers is constantly seeking out new experiences. She’s driven by witnessing the ‘light bulb moments’ when workshop participants see the power of applying human-centered design and change management practices. 

Outside of work, Donkers likes to spend her free time tending to a rural property with her husband Kevin and beloved pup, Willie (Nelson).
